Nationally Published CoSN Article On Schools Using Data Driven Decision Making Features cmERDC Staff and School Districts!
A national article published by the Consortium for School Networking, or CoSN, prominently featured several cmERDC customers and staff that have been active in developing and implementing solutions that allow educators to put data to work in a process known as "Data Driven Decision Making."
A recent CoSN article co-authored by Karen Greenwood Henke and Todd Pierson entitled "You've Got the Data... Now What?" described the tools, experiences, and strategies being developed to implement data driven decision making in K-12 education. Minnesota schools featured prominently in the article include Minneapolis and Anoka-Hennepin Public School districts. The article interviews and shares numerous practical data driven decision making strategies from Anoka-Hennepin Asst. Principal - Vicki Tjaden and cmERDC staff member (and data warehouse project mangager) Jan Brunell. The article was also co-authored by Todd Pierson, of Minneapolis Public Schools.
